Information Collection & Use
PayPartners collects personally identifiable information from our users at several different points on our Web site.
Registration
In order to use the PayPartners Website, you must first complete the registration form and create a username and password. Your username and password are used to verify your identity when logging into the website. During registration you are required to provide contact information (such as name, email address, mailing address and other personally identifiable information such as social security number. This information is used to facilitate financial transactions between you your payee(s) and other entities, and may be used periodically to inform you of transaction history or other details pertaining to your account. You are also required to provide your birth date and government issued identification number. We must store the identification number to comply with government financial regulations to prevent money laundering and financing of terrorism. Your birth date is used to ensure that you are old enough to be issued a PayPartners Card. During registration all information you submit to us in encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL).
We may use this information to contact you about PayPartner services. We may from time to time use your email address to send you newsletters, service messages or other updates and/or announcements. You may opt out of receiving email communication from us by adjusting the settings in your profile.
You have the option to add demographic information to your profile such as income level and gender to us. We encourage you to submit this information so we can provide you a more personalized experience on our site.
PayPartners, the PayPartners Card issuing financial institution and the PayPartners Card processor are the sole owners of the information collected on PayPartners.com
Surveys or Contests
We may provide you the opportunity to participate in contests or surveys on our site. If you participate, we will request certain personally identifiable information from you. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you therefore have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. The requested information typically includes contact information such as email address and phone number and demographic information.
We use this information to notify contest winners and award prizes and to inform you of survey results via email or newsletter.
We may use a third party service provider to conduct these surveys or contests; that company will be prohibited from using our users' personally identifiable information for any other purpose. The PayPartners card is issued by a bank. We must share your personally identifiable information with the bank in order to issue you a PayPartners Card. The bank issuing your PayParttners Card is listed on the back of your card. The bank does not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any other purposes.
Financial transactions (such as ATM withdrawals and purchases) performed with yourPayPartners Card are processed by our prepaid card processor. We must share your personally identifiable information with the processor in order for them to facilitate these transactions. The processor does not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any other purposes.
Legal Disclaimer
We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site
Choice/Opt-out
